This knowledge transfer training course is designed to provide a better understanding of finance terminology, financial modelling, grants and subsidies and how they relate to a knowledge transfer officer and office.
This course is essential for knowledge transfer office staff who want to grown their knowledge and meaningfully contribute to their offices' growth while developing their careers. A previous attendee described this course as finance for the non-financials in knowledge transfer.
During this course, the basics of accounting and financial analysis will be decoded. It shall cover topics on how a KTO is financed; financial modelling, start-up business financing, financial management and how to navigate grants and subsidies. The trainers shall provide the skills needed by founding teams for advising start-ups and discuss the financial implications of terms in license agreements.
