The CaixaResearch Institute is seeking a motivated Junior Knowledge Transfer Officer to support the development of its new Knowledge Transfer Office and coordinate activities within its Innovation Hub—a collaborative space uniting professionals from leading biomedical research centres.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a scientific background in biomedical or life sciences (preferably with knowledge of immunology) who is eager to apply their expertise in a dynamic and supportive innovation environment.
Key Responsibilities

Support the setup and daily operations of the Knowledge Transfer Office, including documentation, workflows, and communication materials.

Help coordinate the activities of the CaixaResearch Innovation Hub, such as workshops, meetings, the Valorization Fund, and collaborative projects.

Map and maintain a current overview of research strengths and emerging technologies in immunology-related fields.

Assist in identifying research outputs with innovation potential and contribute to their evaluation and documentation (e.g., invention disclosures, tech briefs).

Liaise with researchers and support staff to foster innovation-related initiatives.

Contribute to internal and external communications (e.g., newsletters, presentations, event summaries).

Help develop and maintain a shared repository of resources (templates, tools, best practices) for the CaixaResearch Institute community.
Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biomedical sciences, biotechnology, biochemistry, bioengineering, or a related field. Background in immunology is a plus.

Strong interest in innovation, technology transfer, and science communication.

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work in multi-institutional environments.

Proactive, curious, and eager to learn.
Valuable (but not mandatory)

Previous experience in knowledge transfer, innovation support, or project coordination.
