The ASTP European Annual Survey on Knowledge Transfer activities and outputs for financial year 2023 (FY2023) is now open — and we are inviting all Knowledge Transfer Offices (KTOs) across Europe to take part before the 30 September 2025 deadline.
For the past six years, more than 520 KTOs from over 20 countries have contributed their data annually, helping to create the most representative picture of Knowledge Transfer in Europe. This success is thanks to the commitment of our community, and this year we aim to make the survey even bigger and more representative.
Even if you cannot provide data for every section, your input still matters. Every response helps ensure that every country’s voice is heard and that the collective impact of our sector is visible at both national and European levels.
New in 2025: Tailored Feedback for Participants
For the first time, survey participants can request a comprehensive, customised feedback report — the KTO Insight & Positioning Report. To receive this feedback, simply complete the following key questions in the survey: Q4, Q6, Q9, Q10, Q14, Q17, Q18, Q21, and Q23. These questions are essential for us to provide detailed and constructive insights.
Why Your Participation Matters
Your contribution helps to shape the only Europe-wide benchmark for KTO performance. The data supports institutional strategy, informs policy discussions, and influences national and European research and innovation funding decisions.
