Annette has 20 years of experience as a bridge-builder between private companies and public universities, with a focus on pharmaceutical and medico-technical research and innovation.
Annette has worked as Industrial Relations Manager at the University of Copenhagen since 2012 and became part of the Technology Transfer Office in 2020. In her role as Industrial Relations Manager, she drafts external relations strategies, coordinates external collaboration activities across faculties and central administration, and deals with strategic partnership agreements. Annette is a member of various committees, and she represents and give advice to management within the areas of external collaboration, industrial policy, public-private-partnerships, and research & innovation policy including cluster strategies.
From 2007 to 2012 Annette was Senior Advisor in the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Higher Education. Tasks included team leadership of Denmark’s 13 National Contact Points of EU’s Research & Innovation Programme, and research and innovation policy related tasks in Denmark and internationally. Prior to these positions she has done hands-on consultancy in private companies with a focus on research project management and matchmaking.
Annette holds a Bachelor of Medical Science (University of Copenhagen) and a Master of Science in International Business Administration and Modern Languages (Copenhagen Business School).
