Dino works in DG RTD's unit in charge of innovation policy and access to finance.
With the Commission since 2021, he is currently responsible for the overall coordination of the European Innovation Council Forum, which brings together representatives of Member States' and Associated Countries' public authorities and bodies in charge of innovation policy and programmes. He also supports the work on the upcoming European Innovation Act by coordinating the drafting of provisions on talent and governance structures.
Before joining the European Commission, Dino spent short stints with Cambridge Ahead, a business and academic member organisation, the Slovenian Representation to the OECD, and the European Producers Club, a leading interest group for European Independent Film Producers.
Dino holds a MPhil in Public Policy from the University of Cambridge and a BA in History & Politics from the University of Warwick.
