Monique’s first degree was Biological Sciences from Aston University. Following her degree, Monique moved to Cambridge where she worked as a Protein Scientist for University of Cambridge spin out Qkine. This role involved developing IP on growth factor production for regenerative medicine and stem cell applications. Initially the IP was developed in the academic laboratory, whilst funding was raised, and then a company laboratory was set up on the Cambridge Science Park.
She was subsequently Enterprise & IP Administrator and then Enterprise & Innovation Manger at St. George’s University of London. Monique also completed the LifeArc and AUTM Technology Transfer Fellowship in 2021.
Monique joined King’s College London in July 2021 as IP Admin Manager and supports the IP & Licensing team who are responsible for the identification, prosecution, marketing and transaction of IP assets arising from research undertaken at King's College London.
