New Ventures Manager
Megan Aanstoos is a Licensing and New Ventures Manager for Kentucky Commercialization Ventures (KCV). In this role, Megan is responsible for outreach and education on matters related to commercialization, along with assessing, managing, and licensing intellectual property developed at KCV partner institutions. Megan is also actively involved in launching start-up companies and fostering collaborations between partner institutions and third-party collaborators.
Megan is a strong advocate for equity, accessibility, and bringing awareness of different needs to light, so people can form closer, stronger connections and improve communication and social engagement. She has served as Chair for AUTM's EDI Committee, to help enhance EDI education within the technology transfer community and is currently a Board member for AUTM. Megan also serves as one of the six co-founders for GEDITT – an organization dedicated to Global Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Technology Transfer.
