It formally recognises your experience, achievements, and impact in advancing innovation. Whether you're based in a university, research institute, hospital, or enterprise, RTTP shows the world that you operate at the highest level of professional practice.
RTTP is awarded by the Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals (ATTP) — the global body for professional standards in this field. As a founding member of ATTP, ASTP strongly encourages its members to consider applying for RTTP status. It’s an important step for those seeking formal recognition of their contributions to the profession, and a valuable tool for career development. RTTP holders join a global network of professionals committed to innovation and strengthening the role of research in society.

It’s not a training course. It’s not an exam. RTTP is based on real, demonstrable achievements — the work you’ve already done. How to gain CE points
To be eligible for RTTP, applicants must also provide evidence of Certified Experience (CE) points. These points reflect your participation in recognised professional development activities in the field of knowledge and technology transfer.
