Ciaran O’Herlihy is a Senior Commercialisation Associate in the Consultancy Services team at Cambridge Enterprise, the commercialisation arm of the University of Cambridge.
Ciaran has facilitated over 200 consultancy agreements, supporting academics in the development of their ideas and expertise for the benefit of society, the economy, themselves, and the University. As part of his role, Ciaran focuses on negotiating consultancy contracts, considering the risk-profile and the intellectual property considerations of the consultancy project, and managing the financial elements of the work as it carried out.
Prior to his role at Cambridge Enterprise, Ciaran was a commercial graduate on the graduate scheme of energy company EDF Energy. This role allowed him to work in a number of different roles including within EDF Energy’s in-house legal team, I&C sales and marketing team, and revenue collection teams. Ciaran read law at the University of Keele, graduating in 2018.
