Alongside scouting the most promising food startups for StartLife’s various programs and partners, Carla has supported foodtech startups in the StartLife Accelerate programme.
Carla is passionate about taking science to the market, she joined the StartLife team in 2019.
As part of the KTO of Wageningen University and Research, Carla is a business developer encouraging value creation of life science and health technologies. In collaboration with Dutch knowledge institutes and investors within the Thematic Technology Transfer (TTT) program researchers are enabled to take their ideas to the next level, validate them, and establish a successful spin-off. Strongly believing that sustainable innovations can be boosted by supporting spin-offs in their early phases, she also freelances to support these ventures with her experience and network.
