Ulla Kær Olesen is an experienced senior legal advisor with a long history of writing and negotiating national and international research collaboration agreements and technology transfer agreements on behalf of Aalborg University. As Aalborg University is a highly ranked university within the technical and engineering field of research and at the same time a university with an international profile, this requires the ability to balance between the traditional open research environments and the more closed research environments, where required by the circumstances surrounding the area of research.
Ulla has significant experience in supporting Aalborg University’s management and research environments in mitigating the risks related to export control and espionage. Aalborg University has built a compliance program introducing several initiatives and legal measures to reduce such risks, which will be presented at the conference.
