Senior IP Counsel at Philips. René is an experienced qualified European and Dutch patent attorney supporting the Enterprise Informatics business at Philips. In addition, he supports the Europartners Legal Office at Philips in negotiating consortium agreements for government funded projects throughout Europe. He successfully negotiated numerous consortium agreements that involved hospitals, universities, research institutes and other industrial partners. Before working at Philips he worked as a patent attorney for an automotive company as well as in private practice. René has a master’s degree in aerospace engineering and a master’s degree in commercial law.
