Peter joined the University of Copenhagen TTO as Commercial Officer in 2014 and qualified to become RTTP in 2019.
At the TTO Peter primarily handles inventions reported from the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. The activities range from assessment of new inventions, protection of IP in corporation with external patent attorneys, valorisation of IP, term sheets and license agreement with existing companies and especially with newly established university spin-outs.
Peter obtained a MS degree in Biology in 1987 and a PhD in Molecular Biology in 1991 both at the University of Aarhus, Denmark. Following 10-years of post-doctoral work in academia Peter joined private biotech in 2001. In the following 13 years Peter took op various positions in R&D, manufacturing, and management both in a smaller start-up company and in a major Danish company.
