Panagiotis Sevdalis is a Policy Officer in the Unit for Innovation Policy and Access to Finance of the Directorate General for Research & Innovation at the European Commission. He works on the preparation & implementation of the EU innovation policy ensuring its complementarity to the EU & national policies & strategies, through policy coordination and dialogue and is actively engaged in the development and implementation of the New European Innovation Agenda as one of the flagship coordinators.
He is the coordinator of the European Innovation Ecosystems Work Programme under Horizon Europe and he is engaged in the development of long-term visions, favourable framework conditions and incentives for stimulating and steering the demand-side innovation policy.
