Mélanie is the founder and CEO of SoScience, an organisation harnessing the power of science and technology to generate positive impacts for the people and the planet. She is a recognised expert on the field of Responsible Research and Innovation. She published her first book on the topic in 2017. She is an expert at the European level regarding responsible innovation policies, knowledge transfer for societal impact and research partnerships integrating civil society players. She is an Echoing Green Fellow (2017), Ashoka Fellow (2018) and won the 2018 Grinnell College Innovator for Social Justice Prize. "
