Knowledge Transfer Officer at Radboud Innovation Science, Radboud University, Faculty of Science, Nijmegen, Netherlands
Isabel is an experienced knowledge transfer officer with a demonstrated history of working in the research industry. Since 2017, she has been involved in setting up a professional KTO at the Radboud University’s Faculty of Science and early 2021 she became a Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP). Her drive is to increase the impact of fundamental research, with a specific focus on Material Science and Green IT.
With a background in science communication, Isabel has always been active at the interface of science and society. She enjoys translating science for people outside of academia and is dedicated to bridge the gap that she experiences every day. Her KTO work is highly versatile, combining the development of public-private collaborations, writing and editing impact sessions in grant applications, spinoff support, contract research, and advice on IP protection.
Isabel joined ASTP’s Digital Events Committee in September 2021.
