Ilaria joined Cancer Research Horizons in October 2022 as Business Development Associate in the Business Development and Transaction team responsible to market and commercialise the technologies developed by Cancer Research UK funded researchers for patients’ benefit.
Before joining Cancer Research Horizons Ilaria was Research Analyst at UCL Business Ltd. She was also LifeArc-AUTM Technology Transfer fellow (2020/2021) and Postdoctoral Research assistant at MRC-PPU, University of Dundee, UK. She obtained her PhD in Life Sciences-Biochemistry from the University of Dundee, UK and Masters in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from the University of Bologna, Italy. Her scientific background includes biochemistry, cell biology and molecular biology and spans from, DNA replication, cell cycle, cancer and Parkinson’s disease.
