Member of the Executive Board and Head of the Life Science Department at Unitectra AG, the TTO of the Universities Basel, Bern and Zurich, Switzerland.
Daniel Gisi studied biology and business administration at the University of Zurich. He then obtained a PhD in molecular biology and biotechnology from the ETH Zurich.
In 1999 he co-founded E4 Technologies Inc. in Switzerland, a management consulting firm in the pharmaceutical and chip manufacturing industry, where he worked for 5 years as project manager and group leader.
Since 2004, Daniel has been working at Unitectra, where he was instrumental in expanding Unitectra's staff and geographic reach and in professionalising and focusing the technology transfer office on IP and research contract management.
Daniel holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law and Management from the University of Strasbourg (CEIPI), is a member of several national and international TT and licensing associations, including ASTP, and was a board member of swiTT (Swiss Association for Technology Transfer).
