Dagmar Vössing studied chemistry at the Ruhr University in Bochum, where she graduated in 2004. Afterwards she worked at the University of Dortmund and the University of Saarland in the management of studies and teaching. In 2008 she joined the patent exploitation agency of the Saarland universities as an innovation manager. In 2010 she moved to the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology to work in the service unit Innovation and Relation Management. Her focus was on project and IP management with tasks in technology exploitation. Since 2013, she has taken over the management of technology transfer in a dual leadership position. In addition to technology marketing and exploitation, the department’s tasks include technology marketing, strengthening the topic of innovation at KIT, and a number of strategic cooperation projects for the further development of transfer.
