Adele has more than 25 years professional experience in international commercial IP contracts and corporate matters, focusing her practice on transactional, non-contentious and contractual IP work and technology licensing.
She started her career in 1998 with the Law Firm Clifford Chance LLP, working between Rome, Milan and London, representing clients ranging from start-ups to large multinational corporations in a variety of industries with a focus on luxury fashion, technology, e- commerce. As Senior Legal Counsel within the CERN – Geneva (2003) and Senior Legal Counsel within the Italian Government Agency’s Legal Team (Rome) (2008) she enhanced her expertise on commercial contracts in the tech landscape.
During the collaboration with the University of Tilburg (2013-2015) Adele investigated the interaction between technology, laws and regulations, law and society at TILT, Tilburg Institute for Law and Technology. As Senior IP Counsel with PHILIPS (2015) she focuses her activity on the IP creation and protection of the company’s portfolio.
Since joining the Corporate Intellectual Property Department at ASML in October 2000, Adele has been ranked as market-leading individual in the area of IP by various independent legal directories such as Managing IP and WIPF (Leading Female Intellectual Property Professionals 2021).
She is author of various contributions concerning IPRs and the protection of the brand and companies reputation in the web environment. On occasion, she gives seminars on IP matters in various universities and international events.
