Interdisciplinarity is key - Achieving Impact from SSHA with Flipped Knowledge Transfer

Knowledge transfer from the humanities and social sciences is often not a straight road, but a winding path where the goal is to meet societal needs.

Barbara Tan, Policy Advisor Knowledge Transfer at the University of Antwerp for the YUFE (Young Universities for the Future of Europe), maps a new path to achieve impact from and with the SSHA: "Flipped Knowledge Transfer” uses the Quadruple Helix approach to implement community engagement and societal needs in the innovation process.

Barbara will outline this approach by providing examples from the University of Antwerp at the 6th edition of the SIGs ‘The Monthly Online SSHA and Impact Flashlight’.
