Exploring successful university spin-off creation in the social sciences & humanities – some evidence-based lessons learned from Flanders (Belgium)

The Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) are increasingly contributing to firm creation within the Entrepreneurial University. However, both the commercialisation pathways of SSH spin-offs and the nature of academic entrepreneurial motivation in the SSH context remain largely unexplored. In this Flashlight, Eugénie Delzenne will draw upon interviews of SSH spin-offs founders and technology transfer practitioners conducted as part of her doctoral thesis to share insights regarding successful SSH spin-off trajectories in the Flemish context.

SSHA monthly flashlight meetings are organised by ASTP with the kind cooperation of Görgen & Köller GmbH.
