Join the 16th International Technology Transfer Conference on October 11th, 2023. This free hybrid event will be hosted in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, with the option for participants to join virtually via Zoom.
The conference is part of the European Union campaign to boost knowledge valorisation and aims to:
- raise awareness on knowledge valorisation to introduce the latest policy developments on knowledge valorisation and to demonstrate how research and innovation results can be better transformed into societal and economic benefits
- promote knowledge exchange between academia and industry to strengthen the cooperation and transfer of innovations from research labs into industrial exploitation
- strengthen the knowledge base and experience of technology transfer professionals at public research organisations
The conference will dive into several areas:
- Council recommendation on the guiding principles on knowledge valorisation
- Commission recommendation on the Code of practice on standardisation
- Council recommendation and codes of practice – Policy debate
- Pitch Competition for the Best Innovation with Commercial Potential from the Public Research Organisations in 2023
- Presentation of Scientific Papers on Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property
- Presentation of Successful Scientific Projects with Opportunities Arising from Publicly Funded Research Projects
- Connecting high-school education system with academia
