Digital Innovations (DI)

The Digital Innovations SIG, originally launched in 2016 as the Software SIG, has since broadened its scope to encompass the full range of digital innovations and their impact on knowledge transfer and start-up activities.

The group now operates across several key working areas: data management and artificial intelligence (AI), business models, clinical software, open source, licensing software IP, and know how. Alongside these, the SIG maintains the Software Case Studies Database and conducts initiatives such as the Software License Deal Terms Survey to collect insights and share best practices within the community.

With digital transformation accelerating, members also exchange knowledge and track emerging trends in fields such as e-learning, e-health, blockchain, and big data. Through webinars, surveys, and collaborative activities, the SIG provides a dynamic forum for professionals to engage, learn, and advance digital innovation in knowledge transfer.
