Tilmann Lahann is partner and attorney in the law firm Müller, Altmeyer & Partner, Rechtsanwälte, PartGmbB, situated in Saarbrücken, near the French and Luxembourg border in the southern west of Germany. He is specialised in trade and corporate law, mainly advising universities, research institutions and enterprises in the field of research and development, technology transfer agreements and license agreements (especially IT). One of his focuses is technology transfer through spin-off companies and the consulting of technology start-ups.

Tilmann Lahann is member of the focus group legal affairs (Arbeitskreis Recht) of the TechnologieAlliance e.V. He is visiting lecturer at Saarland University and the University of Applied Sciences, Kehl.

He studied in Germany, lived in Metz, France and worked in Brussels, Belgium. After his legal studies he completed an ll.m. program in European integration, focusing on European Economic Law, European Management and Foreign Trade Law.
