Néstor has extensive experience spanning over two decades in the commercialisation of technologies from both academia and the private sector. With a background in Private Equity and Corporate Strategy, including internal roles at Siemens and as an external strategy consultant, Néstor’s core competency lies in identifying, evaluating, developing, and implementing business models for novel technologies.
As co-founder and managing director of Atrineo AG, he has a proven track record as an international strategy and business development consultant. He has been involved in multiple European projects and initiatives, from FP5 to Horizon Europe, often in coordinating and project management capacities.
Néstor has led and managed a significant number of international market research projects for both corporate clients and high-tech start-ups. He regularly provides seminars and workshops on market and market research to young entrepreneurs in European academia and research institutions. His expertise extends to helping set up, structure, and finance numerous start-up companies at the very early growth stage, which includes developing go-to-market strategies, fostering internationalisation, and validating initial business models.
Furthermore, Néstor founded and leads the TransferAllianz "AI in Transfer" working group. He and his team have been actively developing AI tools for technology transfer for the past two years, bringing this hands-on experience and strategic insight to his decision-making processes.
Néstor holds a degree in cybernetics engineering from the University of Stuttgart and has been working as an international consultant for over 20 years.
