Michel Morant has been the Managing Director of the Knowledge Transfer Office of the University of Liege and the Hospital, from 1998 till August 2021.
He graduated as MSEE, MBA and PhD and joined the AEG Daimler-Benz group in the T&D Division in 1985. With about 45 staff members, more than 150 spin off companies created, 20 licences a year, the ULiege Interface is today one of the more active KTO of Belgium. He is RTTP and CLP registered, and member of international associations as Curie, AUTM, IASP, TII, ASTP.
He has been President of Proton Europe, Chair of the NAAC in ASTP, and is the immediate Past-President of LIEU, the Belgian association for knowledge transfer.
He has been a board member of several spin-off companies, and now retired is offering his experience to colleagues.
